Innovation News Network is proud to launch the inaugural INN Talks event. This evening event taking place at the inspiring Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London’s West End will present the unique opportunity to hear from industry leaders working at the forefront of the UK’s battery innovation sector.
Can the UK become a global leader in battery innovation?
In recent years, the UK has faced a number of problems with securing a battery supply chain but it is not too late for the country to seize the opportunity of the global battery supply market, which is projected to be worth between $116bn to $278bn by 2030.
With the opportunity presented by the global battery chain, there is still time for the UK to catch up to competitors, but does UK industry have what it takes to innovate, and overcome the barriers to securing a supply chain?
INN talks will hear from two experts in the battery sector who will shed light on how industry can help the UK secure a strong global position as a leader in battery innovation. We will consider how the UK must work to address the current gaps in the supply chain and explore the barriers that need to be overcome to guarantee a circular system.
